YOGA BEGINNERS' WORKSHOP

Saturdays 2-4pm

Develop your ability and knowledge of yoga for specific purposes. Beginners, inversions, yoga for cyclists, prenatal, meditation, womens health, partner yoga. 2 hour.

February 2012:

Yoga 101 - 1st Sat of the month
A workshop for beginners. Explore the history and philosophy of yoga as well as understand where the body flow yoga style fits in. Understand body flow yoga’s 7 key principles to practice and assess your posture for the optimal boost to your ongoing practice. 

Yoga for cyclists - 2nd Sat of the month
Learn specific postures to help stretch out the body when you cycle regularly.  Includes a home practice routine.

Inversions - 3rd Sat of the month
For those who want to progress or master handstand, forearm balance, headstand and shoulder stand.  Includes important areas of the body and mind to prepare for these poses.

Meditation - 4th Sat of the month
Learn deep relaxation and meditation techniques to use at home to bring more peace, calm and ease into your life.

FEES $44 or $22 for members
