JOWING
Originally from Shanghai, Jowing has worked as a yoga instructor for four years. She moved to Melbourne in 2010 and loves her new life here. Jowing used to work as a graphic designer.
At that time, she started yoga only to increase her flexibility, but gradually she found herself gravitating towards the deeper meditative and spiritual roots of yoga. Since then, she has taken strong interest in Eastern medicine and philosophy and become Yoga Alliance certified (RYT 200).
She has studied and practiced many forms of Hatha yoga including Hot yoga, Ashtanga yoga and Anusara yoga. Jowing has studied with many teachers and now is resonating with Body Flow Yoga's 7 principles to practice and infusing classes with creative and intuitive flow.
CATHERINE GURR
Catherine commenced yoga practice to compliment her dance training while studying for a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts majoring in Contemporary Dance. What she discovered was more than just physical postures. The classes energised her and she wanted to understand yoga's positive effects on the body and mind. This enquiry led her to undertake teacher training with The Australian Academy of Yoga Learning (CAE), graduating in 2009. Her classes draw inspiration from her experience with Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow and her strong belief in Body Flow Yoga's 7 key principles, which fosters strength, flexibility and self-awareness. The lessons learnt on the mat can translate and inform all areas of daily life.
FIONA MCKENZIE
Fiona first came to yoga in the late 1990s seeking body tone, strength and conditioning. She found that and so much more; stillness, peace, relaxation and an ability to cope with stress. Fiona’s yogic passions include asana, relaxation, philosophy and working with breath. She has studied under Sophie Bunn at Body Flow Yoga for the past five years and has been inspired by the energy and flow of the Body Flow Yoga approach and enquiry into body/mind awareness. Fiona has Bachelors' of Arts (History and Indonesian) and Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a post graduate qualification in Careers Counselling. She has also completed her Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching at the CAE and has been teaching yoga since May 2009.

LINDA EDWARDS
After completing a Bachelor of Education and teaching for 7 years, having a family and working as a financial planner with her husband Mark, Linda went to her first yoga class with a degree of reluctance and resistance. She had a desire for fitness and flexibility and found something much more. In 2005 Linda graduated from the CAE with an Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching. She has been teaching ever since and started teaching at body flow yoga in 2006.

BELINDA GODBY
Belinda first came to yoga wanting to improve her fitness and learn how to be more relaxed. Formerly a gymnast she had great flexibility and core strength, but after years of a working life she had experienced some physical regression from this youthful state. Since becoming a body flow yoga student and trainee teacher in 2006, Belinda has strengthened and developed suppleness and understanding of her body. The body flow style has deeply resonated with her, as a profound combination of flow, stability and alignment. Belinda has been a Training & Development Officer in a diverse range of industries and she now brings that experience to yoga. Also qualified in the Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching from the CAE, her enthusiasm and dedication to the practice of yoga and the art of teaching yoga inspires her and her students.
